Artist's Comments
This is the dishcloth I am making for the kids' teachers for Xmas this year. (Oh hell, what am I talking about... Everybody is getting one of these buggers this year, even my brother!)
On the left you can see the stack o' dishcloths... it's about 19 or so of them; less the 7 I already have meted out to B's teachers 'cause his school let out last week (woo, Year Round schools & their Intersession Breaks). On the right you see what it looks like straight on. I still have about 3 of 'em waiting to be seamed & I still have another 3 or 4 to make yet. Knitted up with the mill ends version of Bernat's Handicrafter Holiday Stripes cotton yarn on size 8 bamboo (Clover) needles using this pattern. Yes. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
