Description
This something that I knitted up at first as an experiment (because instead of using thread, I decided to go with sport weight cotton) to see what would happen and then when it seemed to be going pretty well, I thought that I could totally give this to my mom on Mother's Day!
And so I will. ^_^
Originally, it was going to be all in white, but when I ran out of the partial white skein I was using right about where the border was worked, I decided to join on some red to see what would happen. I have to say, I'm pretty pleased with how it came out! (augh, except for that horrid seaming job on the border I did
)
Was made with Lily Sugar'n Cream Sport, White & Red, on 4.25 mm (between US sizes 6 & 7) using Barbara Breiter's Lace Flower Doily pattern.
